“But you’ve brought it out of me,” she says and laughs, caressing his cheek with her hand. “I didn’t mean to!” she pouts, handing the drawing back to him. “I’m sorry.”

He grins, “I would never do such a thing.” He says and presses her lips to hers, “It’s okay, it just gives the car character.” He laughs leaning back in his seat as the waitress comes over with their food.

“Liar. You do it naturally,” she teases, smirking at him. “But I suppose I like myself better as a dork than as my usual angry bitchiness.” She shrugs, laughing along with him when he glances at the car again. She thanks the waitress and digs into her meal, covering her face from him. “Don’t watch me eat!” she pleads.

“Have some faith in me!” she laughs, starting to color and chuckling to herself. “You’ve made me into a dork, Vinnie,” she teases, looking up at him with a playful gleam in her eye.

He chuckles, “You’ve always been a dork Rena.” He teases leaning over to kiss her again, looking down at her picture, “You’ve colored into my car, do you see.” He says pointing at the spot where blue mixed in with the red.

“So jealous,” she giggles, raising an eyebrow at him. “I call coloring in the background!” she protests, leaning over to kiss him. “Please?”

He kisses her back, and hands her a blue crayon, “Fine you can, but you can’t mess it up.” He says and lets her pull the menu from him, laughing a little as she started to color.

“Have some faith in me!” she laughs, starting to color and chuckling to herself. “You’ve made me into a dork, Vinnie,” she teases, looking up at him with a playful gleam in her eye.

“Regardless, I’m doing something for you next time,” she says and chuckles, laughing louder as he picks up a kids menu. “Dork,” she says, laughing when he feigned an offended look.

“I’m not a dork, and you know you want to color in this convertible, and you’re just jealous I beat you to it.” He says sticking his tongue out at her and went back to coloring, smiling as she laughed again.

“So jealous,” she giggles, raising an eyebrow at him. “I call coloring in the background!” she protests, leaning over to kiss him. “Please?”

She kisses him back, smiling along with him, and then chuckles softly. Of course she had to thank him. He was constantly proving how good a boyfriend he was and it seemed she was behind on that. “Yes I do. You’re always so sweet to me,” she says, looking down at their hands. “Next time you have to let me do something for you!”

He smiles, “I’m your boyfriend I’m supposed to spoil you senseless.” He says laughing a little, and reaches over for the child’s menu, and grabs a crayon, and starts coloring in the picture of the car. “Have you ever noticed that the kids get the most stuff at a restaurant, I find it unfair.” He says glancing up at her as she giggled.

She smiles and sips her water, taking his hands across the table. “It seems like I’m always thanking you for one thing or another,” she laughs, meeting his gaze. “But thank you.”

He smiles and leans over, pressing his lips to hers, “You don’t need to thank me love.” He murmurs running his thumb along her hand.

She kisses him back, smiling along with him, and then chuckles softly. Of course she had to thank him. Serena looks at the waitress and chuckles slightly, liking the vintage feel of the place. “Just a grilled cheese, please,” she says, turning to Vinnie when the waitress skates away. “The usual? How often do you come here?” she questions.

He smiles, “Every week, my mum used to take me here as a kid, I love it.” He says thanking the waitress when she brought their drinks over, “No one else knows about it but me and my family, but now you do.” He says with a grin.

She smiles and sips her water, taking his hands across the table. “It seems like I’m always thanking you for one thing or another,” she laughs, meeting his gaze. “But thank you.”
